U15’s Oxon League reach Final

Report from Mike White on Monday’s Semi:

An excellent performance from Banbury u15’s against Oxford Downs saw them reach the final of the Oxon League, Oxford Downs won the toss and decided to bat, Excellent tight bowling by the Banbury bowlers restricted Downs to 89 for 6 wkts from their 20 over’s.

 

Connor Williams 4 over’s 1 for 9 runs, Clark Berry 3 over’s 2 for 11 runs & Jamie Coles 3 over’s 2 for 16 runs being the pick of the Banbury bowlers.

 

 

Sam Ryan 41 not out & Lloyd Sabin 39 not out saw Banbury reach the Downs total in the 17th over with some excellent cricket shots and good running between the wickets.

 

 

This was an excellent game of cricket played between to very good teams, Oxford Downs players and Coaches were a credit to their club.
