INTRODUCTION PLAYCRICKET SCORER
First an explanation of how the Play Cricket system works.
Clubs and leagues using this website set up all their fixtures and club membership on the Play Cricket database. Then in preparation for a match day, the fixture administrator (to prevent duplication and selecting unregistered players) should add the selected players from the club database to the fixture that’s already set up. Unfortunately, this does not always happen.
Because the internet connection at some clubs is not ideal it is a good idea to load the match beforehand, then on the day of the match, if the opposition players are not selected you just need to obtain a team sheet and add the selected players.
More and more clubs and leagues are turning to electronic scoring. Play Cricket has the additional functions of live video streaming with live scores on the internet, DLS calculations within the app and linking laptop directly with the score board. It is becoming necessary for scorers to move on to do laptop scoring on the Play Cricket Scorer Pro.
It is also important for scorers interested in progressing to County or Premier League to have knowledge of the PSCPro laptop scoring software.
To give confidence and experience to scorers who do not trust the laptop in case it crashes or freezes during a game. These simple to follow instructions will help you. It will take you through setting up the game, simple ball by ball input, not so regular input, editing/correcting, DLS target score calculation, and the result.

Once the app is installed the scorer needs to create a username and password to enable him to download a fixture
Use the same Play Cricket link select SIGN IN then on next screen select SIGN UP and follow the on-screen instructions.
These needs setting up at your convenience before you can continue.
Once you are at that stage you can continue with the exercise.
