Friday Night Youth Training Returns!

We are looking forward to seeing you all at the first Youth Training of the season on Friday night (26th April)

For those new to the Club, please note the suggested parking areas on the attached map.

From 10th May, the All Stars sessions will be starting and will take place at the top of the bank on the left as you enter the Club. Please do not park here. We encourage you to use alternative parking at the Club and the car park at the bottom of the drive that is used for the school and then walk up the drive. Please also be considerate of our neighbours in the new houses that have been built behind the Club. If you are able to walk up to the Club, please do.

All the groups from U9s - U13s start training this week at 6.15pm. If you could get there just before 6.15pm so the coaches can check that everyone is registered and checked in that would be helpful. Each coaching group will have a paper register to take on the night so we can check membership and keep a record of those attending.

On arrival, please go with or send your child to the designated coaching zone for their age group (see attached plan) where you will be met by the one of coaching team. They will all be wearing blue ‘Coaching Team’ tops. Please can we ask that parents then move to outside the boundary rope so the sessions can start promptly. If you have any questions, please speak to the coaches at the end of the session.

For your safety, we ask that all siblings and other children who are not involved in the group sessions stay behind the boundary rope away from the nets and do not play on the outfield whilst the training takes place. All children not involved in training should remain under parents’ supervision at all times.

The bar will be well stocked and open for parents and Kan’s Kitchen is open every Friday for takeaway food too. The BBQ will start from next Friday 3rd May.

I will be around each Friday so please do come and find me if you have any questions or speak to one of the coaches after the sessions.

The forecast is looking ‘mixed’ again for this week. If you don’t hear otherwise, please just assume training is on and we are good to go. Keep your Spond notifications on in case we do have to cancel in which case we will post on Spond on Friday.

See you on Friday!
