Banbury A got back to winning ways after last weeks 5 run defeat.
Banbury A played Westbury who are still looking for thier first win of the season. Banbury batted first and had an opening stand of 40 odd between Tim S and Ally. All the batsman (Becky & Cutty) chipped in in a total of 113, Tim Smith more notiable making 38*. Julian making his first apperance was run out without facing, as they (Ju and Cutty) crossed in the middle of the wicket Cutty said "oh s*it sorry mate"
Banbury bowled poorly to begin with but we puled it back as at the half way stage Westbury were 66 for 1. Banbury chipped away with wickets and it was in down to the final over. Tredders needing to hit 12 off a procky over. One wicket was needed by Banbury. The first ball of the over saw a run out and the game was over. The wickets were shared around between Becky, Tim and Bake Bean.
I do believe Banbury A are second in the league after Tuesday results.
