Brilliant Kwik Cricket Tournament Yesterday

What a great day yesterday at the Kwik Cricket tournament at the club, the first game started at 10:30 with non stop cricket right up to the final which was played in front of the pavilion at 4:30, this  proved to be the game of the day with Eynsham just pipping Bicester to win by 2 runs. With great afternoon weather a fantastic day was had by all,i am sure next year we can expand the event to 4 pitches from 3 and make it into an even better tournament. As always thanks must go to the following ,Sabs for cutting the wickets at 8am [even if his tape measure  seems to have lost 2 feet somewhere over the years],Pete Pollard for his help in marking the lines,to Josh Megson and Matt Swinford for selling the raffle tickets all day and putting out the boundry markers,Rich Swinford for doing anything John wanted him to do, for the two Kiwis Ant and ‘Dec’ for umpiring all day [as i know they put in a big shift on sunday both on and off the field !] cheers boys.,Mitch and Nige for running our two teams so well ,Mick for supplying the kit, Pete for providing the certificates and to John for coordinating the whole day so superbly well and finally thanks to the players and parents from Bicester,Westbury,Eynsham,Charlbury,Wotton and Boars Hill and Banbury for making the day such a huge success.
