Banbury’s third team made easy work of a poor Bledlow Ridge second team, depleted of star players due to a prom celebation. Ian Woody Woodworth made magical strides into Bledlows top order after being asked to field and Woody who has had a reputation of being a friday night prom queen, certainley turned up for the fixture and finshed with figures of 3 for33. Supported well by the Dancing Queen himself, Andrew Proctor claimed 3 for 20 along the way.
The innings could have been over a long time before this if it wasnt for Ally Jarvis who managed to notch up his 12th drop catch of the season behind the stumps, but all said and done it was a fine effort to bowl them out for 158 in 51 overs……..
Banbury made light work of the total with Jaime Coles 29, Josh Megson 38 not out and with Ally redeeming himself with a chanceless 71 out to reach the total only one down
A big thank you to Mike White for giving up his afternoon to umpire……..
