Banbury 2nds crush Long Marston

On a hot day at White Post Road, Banbury won the toss and elected to bowl. A decision which looked a bit dubious at times, with the ball going through the top on the odd occasion.

This turned out not to be an issue, as Long Marston were dismissed for only 103.

Richard Brooks bowles a long 18 over spell, taking 4-45, and was well assisted by Olly Wright, Liam Manley and Josh Hill who all took two wickets a piece. Paul Hill was particularly unhappy, as during his only over, he actually turned one but didnt get another opertunity!!

Andrew Sabin then tried to bore the Long Marston bowlers and fielders into submission, while making 32no. At one point overs were 9 infront of his individual score!!

Shahbaz Ali played the fluent innings, with several sweeps and reverse sweeps, making 51no.
