We have just entered a new national 20/20 cup, we are in the oxon group with Oxford and Didcot we play both teams home and away the winners then go to a regional final, dates of the games TBA.
Granada is making Immigration On Trial for Channel 4, and we would like to invite Banbury Cricket Club members to be guests in the studio audience. The invitation is open to anyone aged 16 and over. Granada would very much like to invite people from the Banbury area and would be happy to provide transport
Working Parties May we remind Club members that Andrew and George Sabin are holding working parties in order to bring the ground and pavilion up to speed for the coming season. If we can get as many club members upto the club to help out as possible it would make everyones job a great deal
Following last weeks AGM last Thursday (20th January) that was attended by more than 50 club members the following individuals below were elected into these roles for the forthcoming season. Indoor nets start on Sunday 30th January 2005 at the Dewey Sports Hall, Bloxham School at these times: 5-6pm – Under 11s. 6-7pm – Under 13s & under 15s. 7-9.30pm – Seniors. There will be a cost of £1 per session to all!
The saturday fixtures for the second, third and forth xl’s are now on the site list.I am not sure if the start times have changed can anyone confirm this.
For the fifth game running we have been drawn away in this years Cockspur National K/O Cup.This time we are at either Moseley or Moseley Ashfield on sunday may 8, the good news being we have a home draw in round 3 if we get through.
