BANBURY cricket captain Richard Kaufman is optimistic ahead of the start of the Home Counties Premier Cricket League season on Saturday. His side won their final two pre-season friendlies over the Bank Holiday weekend and Kaufman is excited about his side’s prospects. “We’ve picked up where we left off at the end of last season,”

Congratulations to Andrew Sabin who took part in the London Marathon at the weekend, completing the 26.2 mile course in a fantastic time of 3hrs:15mins:56sec, finishing overall in 2501 place out over 33,000 competitors. Well done Sabs!!! http://results.london-marathon.co.uk
Outdoor Junior Nets start Friday 22nd April at Whitepost Road. Under 11s from 5.45pm – 7.00pm, Under 13s from 5.30pm – 6.45pm and Under 15s from 6.15pm – 7.30pm. Sessions cost £1 which includes a Free Hot Dog. Any queries contact Paul Taylor on 07785 722279.
Senior outdoor nets begin Thursday the 14th April from 6.00pm. All new and current members welcome. The bar is also open for drinks during and after nets sessions. Banbury Cricket Club is looking forward to seeing as many of you down there!
