Superb opening spells from Tom Anderson and Mikey Brown saw Buckingham 32-2 from 12 overs, Anthony Romanine batted well for 50 but we did drop him badly on 12,in fact we spilled 5 catches in all of varied degrees of difficulty… our ground fielding whoever was again excellent… Spinners Chris Phillips and Will Hutchinson both tidy, wickets for Brown, James Bristow,2 for Adnan Ahmed and young Ben Miller kept the lid on Buckinghams progress, Anderson came back to knock over the tail as he finished with 3-14.. Buckingham finished on 160…
In reply we got away to a flyer Lee Marland 45 retired in punishing form.. Bristow with 18 and Ahmed 20 also chipping in.. It was left to Craig Lynes 42no and Brown 15 no to see us home to a comfortable win in 33 overs…
Our first ever visit to Great Horwood awaits us next week as the league kicks in,we are very well prepared…onward
