Youth Cricket update from Cat Miller
A good week for our youth teams…. some excellent cricket played in some excellent cricket weather!
Thursday saw an away win for our Adders team against Chipping Norton A and a first league win for the Cobras against Chipping Norton B at home. Special mention to Huw, Umar and Digby for strong batting performances.
Our Under 11s enjoyed their league win against Cropredy on Sunday winning the game by 24 runs. Well done to Lloyd who was our coaches’ man of the match, Dominic for a great knock and to Beau for a standout performance behind the stumps.
Thank you to all the parents who continue to ferry their children to games home and away (often early at weekend) and to all the parents who stepped up to umpire and score this week.
