The under 13s got their season off to a tremendous start with an 8 wicket win against Shipton on sunday.Batting first Shipton scored 84 with all the Banbury bowlers performing well, Pat Cummings being the pick with 2 for 5 from his 2 overs. In reply Shiptons bowlers bowled a real tight line and after 10 overs Banbury were 27 for 2 , enter Will Stanley who blasted a quick fire 31 [retied] and with Tom Bradbeer 28 n/o at the other end we cruised home with 4 overs to spare.
