The U 13’s lost to Aston Rowant in the county final on sunday by 6 wickets .After scoring 79 ,Tom Bradbeer was the star with 33 retired and Kieran Scott with 17 also batted well ,the Rowant batsman cruised home with 6 wickets and 5 overs to spare. In the semi final we produced our best display of the season against Oxford Downs,batting first we scored a superb 125,Ollie Stevenson 33,Tom Bradbeer 33 retired and Josh Hill 30 retired the pick of the batters.The bowlers all bowled well with Josh Hill 4 for 8 the pick as Downs finished on 79 for 7.Keeper Bradbeer had a superb day with 2 superb stumpings and a catch.But Rowants all round strength deservedly made them county champions. But the Banbury team with 8 players under 12 will be back next year and have gained great experience from this seasons competition.
