Banbury U15s made it 3 league wins out of 3 on Monday evening, beating Chipping Norton U15s by 130 runs.
Batting first, Banbury scored 158 for 4 from their 20 overs, with Murray S (51), Tom F (49) and Evan A (31) all playing very well (and scoring at better than a run a ball).
If the batting performance was good, Banbury’s bowling and fielding was exceptional, as Chipping Norton were bowled out for 28 in the 19th over.
Adam G (3-1-10-2) and Zeeshan A (3-1-6-0) were right on the money from the start, Archie H (4-0-4-1) and Freddie H on debut (4-1-5-1) kept up the pressure, then Shiva S (2.3-2-0-3!) and Ben M (2-1-1-1) finished things off.
The fielding was superb, led by Joe M with two excellent catches, and another great performance by Dan S behind the stumps.
A brilliant all-round team performance which showed the hard work in training is starting to pay off.
