Banbury U15s won their first game of the season yesterday, beating Bicester & North Oxford by 7 wickets.
A miserly opening spell from Adam G (1 for 6 off 4 overs) was backed up by the three spinners Shiva S (1 for 15 off 3), Joe M (1 for 14 off 4) and Theo W (0 for 5 off 2).
Chasing 91, openers Murray S (29*) and Dan S (21) then put on 50 for the first wicket to set up the win. Some more work to do on fielding/catching but a very good performance. Special mention to Dan S in his first game as a keeper – looked like he has done it for years.
