The U13s were beaten in the county final at Tiddington yesterday by an outstanding Stoke Row team.Winning the toss and batting Stoke Row scored 136 from their 20 overs,Banburys opening bowlers Connor Williams 4 0 15 0 and Josh Megson 4 1 8 1 were the pick of the bunch ,Tom Nugent [whose dad played for banbury in 1990] was the pick of the Stoke Row batting with 34 retired.In reply Banbury lost Lloyd Sabin to the 3rd ball of the innings but despite Charlie Hill and Jamie Coles putting on 50 for the second wicket we were bowled out for 90, Coles finished with 18 and Hill 33 retired the only batsmen into double figures, the Stoke Row spinners proved to be their match winners as all 3 put in fine shifts.
