The U11’s won their first game of the season with a dramatic 5 wicket victory against Shipton last night.Batting first Shipton could only manage 60 for 7 as all of the Banbury Bowlers performed well,Charlie Miller 25 retired was the Shipton mainstay.There were wickets for Will Kington,Jamie Wood and Ben Wyatt.In reply Banbury got off to a slow start , but with George Lines and Ben Church putting on 20 for the 3rd wicket, it was game on .Following their dismissals it was left to Nathan Gibbins and skipper George Tate 17n/o to hold their nerve and get us home with an over to spare.
