Banbury U11 have won the South Northants League , they now go forward to the all Northamptonshire final on august 22 at Loddington[near Kettering].
The final against Towcestrians was a surperb game which we just managedto win by 2 runs.Towcester won the toss and batted first,they totaled a competitive score of 259.All the banbury bowlers bowled well the pick being 8 year old Adnan Hamid whose 3 overs cost 4 runs with 1 wicket.In reply the first pair of Nathan Woods and Tom White got us off to a great start with 25.Craig Lyne and Justin Lamsden then added14.Sam Allen and Adnan Hamid ten made 13.It was left to the last pair of Will Hicks and Lloyd Sabin to keep their heads , as they got the 18 runs we needed to win.
