The thirds promotion dream ended at the superb Bledlow Village ground on Saturday as we were battered out of sight by 8 wickets.Batting first we were soon 30-5,Charlie Hill,John Wright,Justin Lambden,Jack Briggs and Siam Hussain all gone, it was once again left to the middle/late order to get us to relative riches.Mike Thomas and Marc Rorich then put on 40 but both falling in quick succession,Thomas out for 36 and Roich 17,only skipper Neil Megson with 16 troubled the scorers as we were bowled out for a miserable 100.In reply Bledlows skipper Adam Mould put us to the sword as they raced to the score in only 14 overs to win by 8 wickets.It was however more good experience for our younger players as 7 of Saturdays team were u18,but good luck to Village next season as they are by far the best team we have played this season.
