Thirds Lose in Another Thriller

For the first time this season the thirds were let  down by their batting as we were bowled out for a paltry 88 by Kingston Bagpuize. It was the son of an old mate of mine who did the damage as Matt Warner bowled superbly to claim 8 -19 with his controlled away swing. He included the prize wicket of me as some how i thought it was a good idea to hack him into the cattle in the 8th over, ummmmmmummmmmm!!!!!!!!!!! Sadly i wasn’t alone in a poor batting display, only improving youngster Jack Briggs[another son of a mate of mine] 18 and a good partnership of 25 between Siam Hussain and Mike Thomas proving the only resistance,Thomas once again proving his worth with 28.In reply Kingston Started well and at 27 -0 after 7 overs were cruising. But Ollie Murrey and Ross Freeman then took 4 wickets for 0 runs and game on.Kingston then tried and succeeded in batting as badly as us but just managed to scrape home by 1 wicket in a terrific game.Steve Hart again bowling superbly finishing with 4-11 and the fit again Ross Freeman 3-21,surely a second team recall is just around the corner!!!!Siam Hussain worthy of a mention as he bowled with great control at the death in a pressure situation ,he just continues to improve. But the star of the day was Warner who was magnificent, well bowled Matt.
