On behalf of everyone at Banbury Cricket Club, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our departing groundsman, Sean Cranley for many years of incredible dedication and commitment to improving playing standards at White Post Road. Sean has invested countless hours, through some very challenging Winters and some incredibly wet Summers to ensure that White Post Road remains at the forefront of cricket in Oxfordshire.
We have had the incredible honour and privilege of hosting some high profile matches in recent years, from the Minor Counties Finals to numerous Oxfordshire and Home Counties fixtures; all which would simply have not been possible without Sean’s superb work! Sean’s new work commitments sadly do not now afford him the time to commit to remaining groundsman at the club. We hope all club members and friends join us in wishing Sean the very best and look forward to sharing a drink with him at the club in 2021 and beyond!
