The Fourth team picked up a ten wicket win at Shipton, after winning the toss and inviting the home team to bat first.
Wickets from Nick Best (3), Tim Harrington (3), Chris Phillips (2) and Hassan Ahmed (1) reduced Shipton to 86 all-out.
(One catch each for Nick Best, Sam Ryan, Lloyd Sabin and Mike Salmon).
Hassan Ahmed removed both of Shipton’s openers in his first Cherwell League over – one caught at mid-wicket, and the other run out at the non-strikers end as Hassan diverted a drive on to the stumps.
Lloyd Sabin (39*) and John Best (29*) needed just 14 overs to seal a ten-wicket win.
