Banbury 3rd and Sandford St Martin 2nd’s clash ended in a thrilling tie, with both sides being bowled out for 127.
Martin Phillips hit 41 for Banbury, who recovered from 62-7.
Steve Cracco (45) took Sandford to the brink, but only one run was completed off the last ball before a run out left the match tied.

BANBURY Twenty’s promotion hopes were shattered as they went down by 34 runs at Abingdon Vale 2nd.
Chris Butcher©ˆs 89 not out was the highlight of Abingdon©ˆs 209-8. Phil Densham took 4-49 for the visitors and then hit 48, but was powerless to stop his side being bowled out for 175.

Stokenchurch claimed the second promotion place after beating Kimble 2nd by six wickets. Hugh Scott took 6-24 to bowl out Kimble for 122, and then the prolific Hashan Raza hit 65 not out as Stokenchurch eased to 123-4.

Champions Oxford Downs 2nd lost by four wickets to Wolverton 2nd. Tom Crouch hit 60 and Glen Dickinson took 5-29 in Downs©ˆ 190 all out. Wolverton then made 192-6 as Roger Berryman took 4-73.

Thame Town 2nd were sent tumbling to a two-wicket defeat as Bledlow Ridge’s Richard Dryden took 7-57.
He helped bowl out Thame for 150, with only Steve Chown (40) getting going. Ridge replied with 151-8.
