Another cracking match for the Vets as Ruscote got home with 3 balls to spare, in our 3rd last over thriller on the run..
Batting first we found the going tough and only managed 75,Ollie Murrey 16 no the only batter to really show, 4 run outs, we must be setting an all time record for those dismissals this season… Our biggest crime was not batting out our overs,a huge schoolboy error, fair play to Ruscote who bowled and fielded well…
In reply we again bowed and fielded well to take it to the last over but for the 3rd time in 4 games we have not managed 80 with the bat, sadly that just doesn’t win games in this division..
We slipped into Voojon afterwards for the best curry any of us have had in yonks.. Simply superb..
