A couple of months on from our latest update, we are excited to confirm that we are into the home stretch!
With Spring now firmly in the air and the first fixtures inked into the scorebooks, the Aster Lee team have been working at pace to put the final touches to the project as we near completion.
Since our last update you can see that the new scorebox external works are now finished, with a new roof, sliding and velux windows and all re-purposed external brickwork. The scaffolding and ground track mats have been removed and as of the start of the week, the balcony steel framework has begun being erected - bringing to life our initial designs and visions and showcasing how impressive the area will be!
Throughout the remainder of the month, the team will be finishing the balcony cladding and fitting the first level decking, before they move on to the ground floor decking and general finishing touches and aesthetic features.
We look forward to announcing completion, and welcoming you all to watch some cricket from the balcony in the coming weeks. Pre-season is now underway, so check out the full fixture list and enjoy the bar in the sun!
