Despite the 2026 deluge of rain, and gloomy start to the year, there is great positivity at White Post Road as Aster Lee continue with fantastic progress on our pavilion renovation!
As you can see from the latest progress images, all three new doors have been fitted - bringing our designs and visions to reality.
Within the next week, all internal works in the upstairs function room will be complete and the false internal wall comes down, ready to take full bookings once again!
The scaffolding will then remain in place outside, as the new roof gets added over the scorebox. Once the roof is in, the new scorebox windows will be fitted - showcasing the full view of the outfield and surrounds. Internal works have already begun on this, and as you can start to see from the image, the space is transformed with great height and light into the room!
External steelwork and first floor balcony decking will then start to follow at pace.
Thanks to generous donations, and hard work from all partners involved in the project, we are also excited to announce further developments that will take place simultaneously - including the full replacement of the ground floor decking!
Further upgrades will be announced in due course, watch this space...
We will of course continue to keep members updated, as we edge towards Spring, and a successful completion!
