In the Indoor Cricket league the two Banbury side were up against each other in a dramatic match.
Banbury A looking for their second win batted first and got of to a good start through Eddie Phillips and Azar Shar. Banbury bowled too many extras at the beginning of the innings but pulling it back with three quick wickets. With experienced Neil Megson and Paul Hill at the crease Banbury A were hopeful of posting a good score. Paul Hill was soon out and it left Megson to get his side up to 73 before the last wicket fell in the 8th over.
Banbury started well with Marc Haupt opening with Danny Harding, the pair putting on 35. At this stage Banbury were on top but two wickets within a over from young Ashley Blanchard, and the game was in the balance again. At this stage Banbury need 21 off 3 overs with 2 wickets in hand. When Andy Harris was caught behind, it meant that Banbury need 12 runs off 10 balls to win with one wicket remaining. Ally Jarvis was the reaming batsman and he saw Banbury home off the penultimate ball with an unbeaten 17.
