Banbury played Great Tew in this weeks indoor league.Banbury started brightly by having scored 21 off two overs but two quick wickets (Danny Harding and Marc Haupt) halted procedures slightly. Chris Smith and Ally Jarvis had a good partnership of 38 before the latter was run out for 22. Chris battled throughout the innings and returned having scored 25. Ian (Swampy) Adams scored a valuable 9 runs to post a score of 95.
Tew started well but lost an early wicket through Swampy. Tew were never really in after they lost captain Kevin Taylor and they managed to score 77 of their allotted 10 overs. Marc Haupt and Swampy claiming two wickets apiece and Andy Harris one against his former club.
Banbury A did not have a fixture this week and they face Great Tew next week. If Banbury win they may send Great Tew down into Division Two
