Banbury CC retained the Great and Little Tew CC six a side title on Bank Holiday Monday. A squad of seven, who only lost one wicket all afternoon was made up of Hector, Kauffman, Phillips E, Phillps J, Ryan, Murrey and Ash Blanchard. They beat Cumnor, Sandford and Great Tew in the league stages. In the final were set 62 to win by Oxford Downs who had beaten Oxford,Horspath and Long Hanbrough on their way to the final. After a slow start to the run chase Banbury require 20 off the last over, and six of the last two balls, but Kauffy kept his cool to see Banbury.
