I’ve had it confirmed that Banbury’s Under 13 Girls will represent Oxfordshire at the Regional Finals of the Lady Taverners in Bournemouth on 16th August.
Oxfordshire didn’t actually run a Lady Taverners Finals Day this year so we weren’t directly crowned County Champions. However, we did win the Aston Rowant U13 Girls Festival earlier in the season as well as the recent U12’s League final & is a just reward for the girls & their efforts this season. I’ve every faith they’ll go on & continue the great success Oxfordshire have had in this competition in recent years (One National Champion & 2 Runners Up).
