The fourth team won for the third week running on Saturday, with an excellent all-round team performance.
After the Nondes won the toss and opted to bat first, tight bowling and fielding restricted the home team to 125-7. Mike White’s 2 wickets cost just 8 runs from 10 overs and Steve Paxton bowled 13 overs, taking 1-24. Scott Reynolds and Chris Phillips also took a wicket each, to add to two run outs.
In reply, John Best(32) and Jamie Coles(61) put on 66 for the first wicket, with Jamie also sharing a 3rd wicket partnership of 31 with Tom White(19). Jamie Mitchelmore(8*) hit the winning runs with a boundary.
