Fourths in last-over win

The Fourth team won a close match against Great Tew thirds at Horton View on Saturday. After being asked to bat first the home team  reached 174-6, Chris Phillips(38), Tom White(26), Martin Phillips(21), Scott Reynolds(21) and Lloyd Sabin(20).

Tew got off to a good start, scoring quickly for the frst ten overs, but then lost wickets at regular intervals, with Peter Gregory(5-27) doing most of the damage.  Along with two wickets from Steve Paxton, and one each for Richie Robbins and Hassan Ahmed this left Tew needing 19 from the last over with one wicket remaining.
Chris Phillips needed only one ball to settle the match.
