Moddershall's bowling attack put pay to Banbury's opening batters who were soon struggling at 28 for 4 after 10 overs, with the damage being done by Beth McGowan 9-2-22-4 and Emma Brown, Beth's twin sister also picked up 2 wickets. Banbury's middle order of Chloe Helps (21), Chloe Hill (27), Sophie Mitchelmore (20) and tail end Immy Clarke (14) held fast and finished on 176 all out, top scorer Chloe Whinmill 38*. Unfortunately Moddershall never really got off the ground under Banbury's opening spell finishing on 42 all out after 22 overs. Pick of the bowlers Harriet Boland 6-2-6-4, Chloe Hill 4-1-6-2, Amy Freeman 2.4-0-6-2, Chloe Helps 3-2-4-1, with Emily Ong only losing 2 runs off her 3 overs.
