Banbury Cricket Club First XI will be very busy over the next two weeks as they prepare for games in 4 competitions!
Ian Hawtin’s men entertain local rivals Oxford at Whitepost Road on Saturday (13th) before travelling to Sutton Coldfield on the Sunday (14th) to take on Walmley in the National Club Championship. Unfortunately Banbury will be without 5 players (Hawtin, Haupt, Shahbaz, Shirazi and Ryan) who will be representing Oxfordshire on the same day.
The fun continues at Tiddington CC on Tuesday (16th) in the 2nd round of the Oxfordshire cup, after Banbury received a bye in round 1.
A trip to Slough in the HCPL (Saturday 20th June) is then followed by a visit from Burnham CC in the 2nd round of the National Twenty20 on Wednesday 24th June.
