Bob Fox’s funeral will be held on Wednesday 27th April – 12pm at Wroxton Church.
Bob played for the club in 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s; was captain of the club for three years in mid-sixties, president in 1979 and again in 2001. He was a club trustee as was his father before him and took over as Chairman of the Trust when George Clarke passed away, which was the time of the move to White Post Road, only standing down after navigating the Trust through choppy waters with the Charity Commission.
Bob took a keen interest in the club right up to the end, and was a great supporter of the first team in the early days of Home Counties Premier League Cricket.
Bob was one of life’s great charters and will be sorely missed by all at White Post Road.
