The thirds turned in a fine all round performance to beat Kidlington 2nds in a friendly on saturday.Batting first we scored 239, 12 year old Lloyd Sabin on his debut put on 48 for the first wicket with Ally Jarvis [21] befor being out for 21.Ju Briggs [28] and 21 from Ross Freeman gave us a base for the onslaught in the closing overs as a brilliant 75 n/o from Andy [Bean ] Procter gave us just about a par score..Woody, Ross and Sean bowled really well with the new ball on a flat wicket and with some top out cricket we restricted Kiddy to 182 -7.But the highlight of the bowling was Alex Blanchards 6-23 form his 9 overs of controlled leg spin.
