Banbury eased passed Twyford at a cold and wet White Post Road on Saturday.
Winning the toss and inserting Twyford, Banbury we in control throughout the innings. Olly Wright (on debut) and Liam Manley bowled with great control, and Twyford plodded to 4 -1 after 10 overs.
The two openers were replaced after 8 overs each, Wright (14-2) and Manley (10-0).
Murrey and Hill (25-0) kept the pressure on, bowling unchanged up to over 29. When the late arriving Brooks replaced Murrey (8-1) T Nadeem was Twyfords main threat who finished with a hard fort 55, before being removed by Brooks (42-2).
Wright replaced Hill in over 38, and cleaned up the tail, finishing with excelent figures of 13.1-2-32-6. While Manley got the wicket he deserved and finished with 9-4-17-1. Twyford posted 126 all out.
In reply Banbury never looked in trouble with Sabin making 61no and M Rorich 37.
