Banbury enjoy double success

BANBURY comfortably won the Cherwell League division one derby at Ermont Way.
Banbury Twenty were dismissed for just 49 runs as Ollie Murrey took seven wickets. In a rain-interrupred reply, Banbury lost a couple of early wickets but Andrew Sabin and Ed Phillips saw them home for the loss of just one more wicket.

At White Post Road, Banbury beat Falkland by six wickets in division one of the Home Counties League.

Criag Haupt took 2-11 and Luke Ryan took 3-25 as Banbury dismissed the visitors for 150 runs. Haupt then took centre stage with the bat, hitting 72 runs, which included three sixes and eight fours.
