Banbury will have to do it the hard way if they are to secure a run in either national cup in 2012. They have been drawn away in the first two rounds of both the Kingfisher Beer Cup (45 over Sunday KO) and the Red Insure T20.
Banbury face Chesham in the first round of the Kingfisher Beer Cup on Sunday 29th of April and their prize should they win will be a trip to the East Midlands to face either Kibworth or Wollaton.
In the national T20, on Bank Holiday Monday 7th of May, Horsepath stand in Banbury’s way if they are to set up a clash with the winners of Shipton or Thame.
