The thirds secured their first win of the season with an incredible victory against Bourton Vale seconds.Winning the toss Meggers invited Bourton to bat but after 9 overs of absolute manure Bourton had raced to 62 with out loss.Then opener Mike Walton 48 skied a catch and all hell went off as Bourton lost all 10 wickets for 15 runs in 10 amazing overs.Paul Hill 5-19 and Tim Smith 5-20 reaped all the carnage.With 81 overs in which to get the runs both Julian and Jamie were out in the first over of our reply and we were in some bother at 4-2 , but who do you need in a crisis enter big bird , as Cutty calmly saw us home with 33 n/o and with Smithy smashing 28 at the other end we crept home with 69 overs to spare, and for the second week running the bar takings soared.
