So the season closes for the thirds with a dissapointing bowling performance against Didcot 2nds…I won my 12th toss of the season and we had a hit,an early wicket (me) bought Craig and Lee together, they put on 50 in even time, but both were out in consecutive overs, Lee for 32, Craig 23..Didcot in fairness bowled really well, quite how they have only won 3 games this season is properly beyond me.. Only Gary Crook with 25 and Joe Miller who batted time too showed,as we succumbed to 119..sadly not enough… But we did ourselves no real favours with the ball, Mike Simpson tidy as ever, wickets for Seb Finch and James Crosby was all we had to show as Didcot cruised home in 23 overs.. With another league reconstruction in the offing we will next season find ourselves in division 4 again, its absolutely where our performances this season have warranted..
