Banbury Cricket Club have confirmed the captains and vice captains for the 2012 season following the amalgamation with Banbury Twenty Club. Ian Hawtin retains the top job for a 4th season and as with previous season he will be supported by Jimmy Phillips as his Vice Captain and Steve Beck as 2nd XI skipper.
There are number of changes lower down the sides, as a mix of former Banbury and former twenty club players step into key roles, see the list below:
1st XI: Ian Hawtin VC: Jimmy Phillips
2nd XI: Steve Beck VC: Ed Phillips
3rd XI: Neil Megson VCs: John Wright and Ally Jarvis
4th XI: Barry Grant VC: Chris Phillips
5th XI – Manager: John Pallet, On field captain from pool of: John Lloyd, Andrew Jones, James Mitchlemore, Richard Lambden and more
Players should contact their captain with their early season availability.
