The lunch is the beginning a busy 2 months of social events at the Pavilion which sees a couple of old favourites (Tony’s curry night, end of season dinner) joined by an exciting black tie event featuring popular local band and ‘Bloxfest’ regulars The Blue Meanies.
The last league game of the season (Saturday 3rd September) will again be followed by Tony’s Curry night. We are delighted that Tony has agreed to cook for us again after the success of last year; the event is quickly becoming a BCC tradition and is eagerly anticipated by all. With both 2nd’s and 4th’s still in the promotion hunt, there may well be some celebrating to do!
The season will formally be closed on Friday 16th September by the End of Season Dinner, the usual 3 course meal, captain’s speeches and presentations can be expected.
The Blue Meanies are the band at an exciting Black Tie Dinner Dance on Saturday 8th October. Champagne and canapé reception, 3 course meal and dancing into the early hours are covered by the £50 ticket which can be purchased from Martin Phillips (martin.phillips@swangroup.co.uk). This event is sure to be popular and tickets are selling fast, book now to ensure your attendance.
