The 3’s enjoyed the better of a thriller at the view on Saturday, batting first we got off to a solid start and at 65 for 1 seemed well placed for a decent score .Opener Ally Jarvis was then dismissed for 33 as Banbury were reduced to 75 fro 5,Will Briggs with a hard hit 41 helped repair the situation but when he was caught behind we were in all sorts of trouble on 115 for 7.It was left to the ‘in form’ Neil Megson who finished 56 n/o,3 fours and 3 big six’s, Con Williams 26 and Clarke Berry 10 to get us to a respectable 223.In reply Berry got 2 early wickets, one a truly magnificent one handed catch by Adam Wirth as Challow struggled, but a brilliant innings of 92 by Rob Owen kept the game alive.Andy Stevens again took 4 wickets as did pick of the attack Berry as Challow finished 9 short with one wicket left in a terrific game.
