Craig Haupt’s century against Cornwall last week earned the batsman a county cap. Oxfordshire skipper Ian Hawtin said of the Banbury man: "Craig has showed time and time again what a good batsman he is. "Awarding him a county cap has been something in the pipeline for a while, but it seemed an opportune moment after his century. "He has shown that he is one of our best batsmen. "Craig is well-established in both Minor Counties and Home Counties cricket, and we hope he will continue to bat in the same way for seasons to come."
