So the 3rds suffered their first defeat of the season against Cropredy 2nds by 27 runs.. We bowled reasonably well to bowl them out for 157,31 wides and 3 no balls was just rubbish again by us, its a massive problem we have and ultimately cost us yesterday… We should have been chasing about 120,which on a pitch doing all sorts all game was a huge challenge . Wickets for Rich Gostalow,Tom Anderson, 2 for Freddie Crook and Will Briggs.. The pick of our attack the brilliant Mikey Brown, 10 overs 3 maidens 3 for 20.. Great shift..
In reply we started well,Adnan Ahmed 20 and Lee Marland 39 got us to 60,but again a cluster of wickets tumbled against the excellent James Coleman as we subsided to 130 all out,… The extras situation and the 4/5 wickets tumbling in groups have happened in all 3 games,something i know we will improve on,we just have too… But after 3 games we are 2 points off the top,we are only about 60% capacity right now so all bodes well for a really decent season.. Bicester 2nds at home next week…. Onwards
